Workout Music for March 29

So, I've found myself a new love. Pandora Radio application for iPhones and iPod Touches. I have an iPod Touch with Wifi in my home so I'm pretty excited to be able to use this. You just type in an artist or a song you like and they will play no only that artist/song, but songs that are in the same genre. Too cool!

So, that's what I used today.

March 29, 2010 Playlist
  1. "Your Love Is My Drug" - Ke$ha
  2. "Evacuate The Dance Floor" - Cascada
  3. "Sexy Bitch" - David Guetta feat. Akon
  4. "Dance Floor Anthem" - Good Charlotte
  5. "Blah,Blah, Blah" - Ke$ha
  6. "Shake It" - Metro Station
  7. "Money Honey" - Lady GaGa
  8. "SheWolf" - Shakira
  9. "Dinosaur" - Ke$ha
  10. "Circus" - Britney Spears
  11. "Holiday" - Weezer
  12. "Fire Burning" - Sean Kingston
  13. "Telephone" - Lady GaGa feat. Beyonce

This isn't my usual style in music, but it really gets me moving during cardio. Funny.

Workout Music for March 22

I like to listen to music while I do my cardio so I thought I'd share with you what I listened to today. I normally put my ipod on shuffle and just let it go, but some days I listen to albums.

Today was a shuffle day. :)

March 22, 2009 Playlist:
  1. "Darkpop" - The Higher
  2. "But it's Better if You Do" - Panic! at the Disco
  3. "Green Light" - John Legend
  4. "Obvious" - Blink-182
  5. "Fight For Your Right" - The Beastie Boys
  6. "We Are All On Drugs" - Weezer
  7. "I Love You To Death" - Family Force 5
  8. "Long Way To Happy" - P!NK
  9. "Julia" - FeFe Dobson

That was 30 minutes of cardio and I'm REALLY proud of it. :) I'm going to be going to the gym in a few to do my strength for my fitness class in college.

Ten Rules For Being Human

Ten Rules for Being Human by Cherie Carter-Scott

  1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it’s yours to keep for the entire period.
  2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, “life.”
  3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately “work.”
  4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
  5. Learning lessons does not end. There’s no part of life that doesn’t contain its lessons. If you’re alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.
  6. “There” is no better a place than “here.” When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will again look better than “here.”
  7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
  8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
  9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life’s questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
  10. You will forget all this.

I found this over http://8dazeaweakend.com/blog2/?p=652 and I LOVE it. :)

Reasons to Lose Weight

I know it's rather late, but I was struck with motivation for making a list of reasons WHY I want to lose these 120 pounds. That and I have a sore throat that is keeping me up.

REASONS WHY I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT
(in no particular order, of course.)
  1. To wear clothes that I WANT to wear.
  2. To be able to go out in public without stares.
  3. To stop all the teasing.
  4. To lower my risk of disease.
  5. To feel happy with myself.
  6. To have more confidence in myself and my abilities.
  7. To get boys to look my way...in a good way.
  8. To shop where all my friends shop.
  9. To feel pretty.
  10. To feel better.
  11. To be able to do more things.
  12. To be able to comfortably ride roller coasters and other rides.
  13. To get a whole new wardrobe.
  14. To look good when (and if) Mcfly comes to the United States.
  15. To feel OK when I eat in public.
  16. To shop in the juniors section while I'm still young.
  17. To get more job offers.
  18. To wear clothes that fit each season (i.e. wearing shorts and tank tops in the summer instead of t-shirts and jeans.)
  19. To be able to sit on things without worrying that they may not hold my weight and break.
  20. To FINALLY be the person I've ALWAYS wanted to be.

I created this list and have it written down on a piece of notebook paper. Every day, I am going to TRY and remember to put it into my pocket. When I go to make an excuse for not exercising or try to eat unhealthy, I'm going to reach in my pocket and either read or just feel the paper. Hopefully it will help me with my bad decision making habit I've recently gotten into
